Appointments & Inquiries

A dentist

honors the body met in the “dental” clinic and treats it as a “doctor” would,
and is someone who helps body and mind grow through the course of that treatment.

And it is also a dentist’s role
to keep learning the organic relationship between the mouth and the life the human body holds
and to develop treatment through it.

Philosophy

Set against the 13-billion-year history of the universe,
my 20-odd years as a dentist have been a small thing.

Seeking better care, I studied implants, orthodontics,
esthetic prosthodontics, periodontics, occlusion, the jaw joint and more, yet still felt something missing,
so I spent a long time learning about dentistry and the body, and about body and mind.
And then I saw it: my own contradictions all along.

There is no perfection.
Only wholeness in the moment.

What is more,

occlusion goes through birth, aging, illness and death, much like a human life,
so for the dentist Kyung-A Oh, occlusion is the “ego.”

So that the “ego,” a gift of the universe, can stay healthy,
through complementary understanding and cooperation among many people,
I will help as a dentist, at the most fitting time and in the most fitting way.

You are my mirror, and I am yours as well.

So that ALF can truly be ALF Therapy,
I hold my life as a dentist up to the mirror every day.
